Bi-Weekly Mortgages

A bi-weekly mortgage may be a great choice if:

• You want to reduce the length of your term and build equity faster
• You receive your paycheck weekly or bi-weekly

Bi-weekly mortgage payments are automatically deducted from your checking or other deposit account every other week. Payments made every other week result in 26 half payments per year - or the equivalent of 13 monthly payments. This payment schedule enables your loan to be paid off more quickly and equity to be built at a much faster rate than most other types of mortgages. If your income schedule allows it, the bi-weekly mortgage is a great option to consider.
