Harris Business Banking Recognized for Excellence by Greenwich Associates

CHICAGO, Feb. 17, 2010 –The 2009 Greenwich Excellence Awards have been announced, and Harris’ Mid-Market and Small Business teams were once again recognized in multiple categories, both on a national and regional basis.

“At Harris, it all starts with our vision, to be the bank that defines great customer experience,” said Peter McNitt, Vice Chair, Harris N.A.  “The recognition we’ve received from Greenwich reflects the fact that our Business Banking team places our customers at the center of everything we do.  I speak on behalf of the entire Business Banking team when I say that we are very proud to receive these awards.”

Over 13,000 interviews were conducted, and 750 banks were evaluated.  In the end, 33 banks were recognized for distinctive quality in Mid-Market, and 43 banks were recognized for distinctive quality in Small Business.  Harris was recognized for both.
