Harris has partnered with United Way External link leaving harrisbank.com for more than fifty years, and it is a major recipient of corporate support. United Way invests the dollars in the areas with the greatest need and where the most impact can be achieved.

Harris is continually recognized by United Way of Metropolitan Chicago as one of its top corporate citizens. Harris is also a key contributor to other United Way agencies across the country.

In 2007, Harris raised $1.7 million dollars nationally through employee and corporate giving. Our commitment to United Way starts at the top. Ellen Costello, our CEO, serves on the board of directors of United Way of Metropolitan Chicago, and previous CEOs have served as Chicago metro campaign chairs.

Harris employees show their commitment and dedication to their local United Ways by serving on boards, allocation committees and volunteering at United Way partner agencies.
