Humanitarian Volunteer Efforts

When there’s a local need, Harris employees respond by demonstrating the “here to help” spirit. For example, Harris’ Mobile Response Units in both Indiana and Wisconsin are helping with clean-up efforts in the wake of recent flooding in the Midwest.

In addition, Harris was among the first Chicago-area companies to provide relief to those displaced by Hurricane Katrina, which devastated parts of Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi in August 2005. Harris employees volunteered their time to help those forced to relocate to Chicago get settled in their new city.
