In Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin, the Lawyers' Trust Account (IOLTA) provides the benefit of interest on checking for attorneys who handle clients' funds. In Illinois, interest is paid to the Lawyers' Trust Fund of Illinois. In Indiana, interest is paid to the Indiana Bar Foundation. In Wisconsin, interest is paid to the Wisconsin Trust Account Foundation.
