Q: What is the Harris Everyday Benefits Program?
A: This program rewards you with points that may be exchanged for merchandise, gift cards, travel and much more. Simply use your Harris Debit MasterCard or Harris MasterCard for Business for your everyday non-PIN purchases.

Q: Do I need to enroll my debit card?
A: Yes. In order to begin accumulating points, you must enroll your Harris debit card. Enroll now.

Q: Is there an annual fee?
A: No. There is no annual fee. After enrollment all you need to do is use your card to make non-PIN transactions to accrue points!

Q: How do I earn points?
A: You earn one point for every two dollars spent on eligible non-PIN Harris Debit MasterCard or Harris MasterCard for Business card purchases. We keep track of all the points you’ve earned and provide you with a monthly e-statement.

Q: How do I know how many points I have earned?
A: In addition to a monthly e-statement, you can also check the number of points earned by logging into your account. Points are updated at the end of each month for eligible purchases from the previous month. For example, points earned in the month of June will be posted to your Harris Everyday Benefits account at the end of July.

Q: What if I made purchases before I enrolled my card?
A: Purchases made with your Harris debit card prior to enrolling in the program do not qualify to earn points.

Q: What type of purchase qualifies for this program?
A: Non-PIN purchases made with your enrolled Harris debit card are eligible to earn points for rewards. Purchases made using your Personal Identification Number (PIN) do not qualify.

Q: What is a non-PIN purchase?
A: Most purchases with your Harris debit card where you do not enter your PIN are considered non-PIN purchases. For example, making a purchase online, over the telephone or through the mail are non-PIN. At your local merchant, just swipe your Harris debit card at the register, select “credit”, sign and go. Also, recurring bill payments may also qualify as non-PIN purchases.

Q: When using my Harris debit card at checkout, I am prompted by the keypad to select either “Credit” or “Debit.” Do I have to select “debit” when using a debit card?
A: No. Whether you select “Credit” or “Debit;” the purchase amount is deducted from your checking account:
By selecting “Debit” you will be prompted to enter your personal identification number (PIN). Remember, purchases using your PIN do not earn points for this program.
By selecting “Credit” you may be prompted for your signature, or the purchase may go through without your signature depending on the purchase amount. You will earn points everyday with your registered Harris debit card when you choose “Credit” at the register. In order to earn points, when paying for your everyday purchases it’s important to choose “Credit” not Debit.

Q: What can I redeem with points?
A: You can redeem accumulated points for merchandise, gift cards and travel. For more information, please refer to the Harris Everyday Benefits program brochure or online catalog. Be sure to watch for your Harris Everyday Benefits statements for special “Bonus Rewards” that may be available.

Q: When can I redeem points?
A: You can redeem points anytime for as few as 750 points.

Q: How do I redeem points for gift cards or merchandise?
A: Redeeming your Harris Everyday Benefits points for merchandise or a gift card is easy. Simply compare the total points you’ve accumulated with the number of points needed for the item(s) you want. Once you have accumulated enough points through your everyday purchases, go ahead and redeem those points. If you need assistance, call our service center toll free at 877-340-4321. A rewards specialist will take your order and you will receive your item(s) within 2-4 weeks.

Q: What if I am not satisfied with the quality of redeemed merchandise?
A: Please refer to the program Terms & Conditions or by calling our service center toll free at 877-340-4321.

Q: How do I redeem points for travel?
A: You have two hassle-free ways to redeem points for travel. Simply go online and use our airline booking engine to book your travel and redeem points at the same time or after you’ve traveled you can redeem for a Travel Rebate Certificate. Follow the instructions on your travel certificate to receive a rebate credit to your account. If you need assistance, call our Service Center toll-free at 877-340-4321, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Q: How flexible are Harris Everyday Benefits’ travel rebates?
A: Unlike typical frequent flier programs, you can book through your preferred travel agency, direct with travel providers, or on the Internet. Any airline, any hotel or resort, any train, any cruise line, any car rental agency…YOU NAME IT!

Q: What if I already took a trip? Can I still get value from my points?
A: You can redeem your points online for a Travel Rebate Certificate or call the service center to have one mailed to you if your trip occurred after you enrolled in Harris Everyday Benefits. Simply return the completed Travel Rebate Certificate along with your travel receipt(s) and we will issue credit to your checking account. For every 5,000 points you request to redeem for travel, you’ll receive a $50 credit to your Harris debit card account. It’s that easy!

Q: Can my Harris Everyday Benefits points be combined with points earned on other programs?
A: Points cannot be combined with or transferred to other reward programs.

Q: Do Harris Everyday Benefits points expire?
A: Points will expire at the end of the third calendar year from the year in which they were earned. So there's plenty of time and opportunity to use your points.

Q: Are Harris Everyday Benefits points transferable?
A: Points are not transferable.

Q: What if I have a joint checking account?
A: Points earned from eligible debit card purchases made by you and your joint accountholder are automatically combined into one Harris Everyday Benefits account. As soon as one cardholder enrolls in the program, the eligible non-PIN purchases of all cardholders for that joint checking account begin to earn points. It’s that easy!

Q: What if I have multiple checking accounts and more than one debit card?
A: No problem. Simply contact our service center toll free at 877-340-4321, and a rewards specialist will customize an account for you that will automatically combine points earned from all your eligible debit card purchases into one Harris Everyday Benefits account. This request can be completed within 7 business days.
