Harris Implements the Making Home Affordable Modification Program
On August 28, 2009 Harris implements the Home Affordable Modification Program designed to help struggling homeowners avoid foreclosure by modifying loans owned by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac to a level that is both affordable and sustainable.
Harris has already implemented the Freddie Mac® Relief Refinance and the Fannie Mae Refi PlusTM programs under the Making Home Affordable program on May 1, 2009. As part of these programs Harris is helping eligible customers refinance their mortgage even if their home has lost value.
